The Curriculum.

Stuart Chapman HillYour classes include a core of music theory and history, performance lessons and ensembles, and specific courses in your area of interest—all essential to any music degree.

Many of our students study at our Vienna campus during a portion of the junior year. Eleven different degree programs are focused on music performance, music composition, music education, music technology, songwriting, musical direction for musical theatre, and general music studies.

Webster University has been a full member of the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM) for the last sixty years, an important marker of our standing among music programs in the US.

Our roster of guest artists adds breadth and depth to our degree programs, as does our regular cooperation with other Saint Louis arts groups.
